How Aspartame became Legal (Time-Line)

Today, so many "low-calorie" drinks are taking buyers by storm. They are sold with their mis-leading labels and hypes of a "lighter" drink to enjoy and "lose weight." So many of these leading drinks are equiped with Aspartame (an artificial sweetener), that in anecdotal reports, has been linked to various neuropsychiatric disorders, including panic attacks, mood changes, visual hallucinations, manic episodes, and isolated dizziness.
A close friend has shared with me the time-line in which Aspartame became legal, and I would like to share it you.

Thank you Chalene!!

So!! My husband and I went snowboarding for two days this last week (Days 39 and 40), and I have to give a HUGE thank you to Chalene Johnson and her AWESOME KICK-BUTT workout program (ChaLEAN Extreme!!). I was so shocked on how strong my legs have become over the past 40 days. I boarded for two whole days and wasn't sore in the least!! Thanks to the program, I was able to board as a beginner with strength on my side. I was so confident and knew I could handle myself out on the snow. It was a great trip!
All this time I knew I was getting stronger... but this trip really proved it! I was amazed!

So here it is: THANK YOU CHALENE JOHNSON!!!

I'm back home and scheduled to do Burn it off! and Recharge today.

My eating has slowed down too. Like, on my trip, I wasn't hungry. Pre-occupied? or is it that time in the program where I'm getting "control" of my appetite? I don't know... we'll see how the next couple of days go as I do my morning workouts.

This morning I had Jelly on Ezekiel Bread and a glass of O.J. mixed with Guava for breakfast. One slice was all I needed. I felt full. Weird! I know!! And then for lunch, I had a cranberry and sunflower seed salad with light dressing. I'm not tired, and I'm not hungry. I'm just comfortable. So maybe I'm gaining "control!" ha ha ha... like I said, I don't know... we'll see in a couple days ;)

Oh!!! For my trip, I made dehydrated pineapple chips, dehydrated banana chips and packed some carrots to snack on. It was perfect! Great energy snacks and tasty!! YUM!! :))

That ONE person


Through my journey on the ChaLEAN Extreme (and life in general), I ALWAYS turn to my husband for support and constant encouragement. He truly means the world to me. Without that ONE person to keep you going, to keep you motivated and on track with your goals, following through can be tough. I know that when I get down and upset about not seeing "quick" results, I talk to my man and it's like he know's all the answers... or at least is just really good about B.S'n his way through it and still making me feel like a million bucks!! In any case, he still makes me feel great and I still feel READY for my next step towards winning.
I think EVERYONE needs that ONE person whom they can lean on when needing support. A close friend, a mother, a father, sister or brother, wife or husband.. everyone needs to feel that "safety" in confiding with someone and trusting in them to bring them out of the pits ;) You might think you can do it all on your own (and i'm sure you can), but it sure helps and is less painful when you have someone there on your side all the way :)
Set your goals! Keep someone close to you that will be there no matter what to help you succeed and conquer!!

PUSSHHH!!!!!

Give it all you got and don't give in... PUSH until failure!! Yeah baby!!! That's what I've been doing!! Going Heavy or going home!!

Today is day 37!! woo hoo!!! I'm becoming so much stronger! Today I curled 20lbs until failure! Oh Dang!! No she didn't!! Oh yes she DID!!!

No weight loss... YET!! It's coming! I can feel it!! ;))

I have been experiencing headaches the past couple of days and I know why... I have had a pretty bad addiction to energy drinks... and for 3 days now, I have been energy-drink-free!! Therefore, causing caffeine withdrawls, sleepiness, headaches, and bloatedness!!! It's all good though... it will all pass. I don't want to put those drinks in my body anymore... they're so bad for you.
And this last weekend while I was snow-sledding with the family, my mother in law told me that my younger sis in law had discovered a lumb on her breast so they took her in to have it looked at and it was caused by consuming too much caffeine (energy drinks!!). So YEAH!! My thirst needs will consume only of water and more natural drinks. :))

Day 37 and i'm feeling GREAT!!! Except for the weightloss... but my arms and BUTT are getting TIGHT!!! I am LOVING it!!!

Here's a toast!!

Why not toast after a great workout! Right! This evening I did Burn Intervals and Ab Burner. I really pushed myself!! Even though I only worked out with 5lb weights the entire time... I truly managed to focus on my muscles and target the groups in which I was working. My arms are BURNING!!! I LOVE it! :)))))
During my Ab exercise... my puppy decided she wanted to walk under me, over me, ON ME! she licked my arms, hands and face a bagillion times and I STILL managed to finish the video and get a great workout... next time her little butt is gonna be in her KENNEL!! ha ha ha...
(I seriously giggled the entire time... she was cute ;))

So anyway! Today is day 32!!! WOW!!! I'm gonna make another video soon with my results. I'm heading out to the snow for the weekend and I'll be back. So early next week!! Can you all wait that long?? ;)

I DID IT!!!!

I put my mind to it and I DID IT!!!!
Today was my first day in the Push Phase. (Day 29). I worked my calendar out in a way that I can keep my original REST days (Sunday's and Tuesdays) and not miss an entire week to do so. SO! What I had to do was on my last day of each phase, I had to do my original workout PLUS the first workout of the next phase. Make sense? So today I had to do THREE workouts to ensure I was on the schedule that worked out best for.... ME!! :))

I just finished Burn it Off! & Recharge and Push Circuit 1. Push Circuit 1 was INTENSE!!! and Burn it Off! is sooo INTENSE... so when the Recharge video came on... I was happy to stretch and catch my breath. I'm a little winded as I sit here and write this post... but let me tell you! It was sooo totally worth it, because you know what?? I DID IT!!!! I made it through all THREE workouts just as I planned. I'm on schedule for the next phase (Push Phase) and it feels great!

My goal has been met!! Woo Hoo!!! Happy Dance!! Oh OUCH!! Wait... no happy dance quite yet... i'm still a little jello-ee from my THREE workouts! (he he..)

I really do feel wonderful!! Doesn't it feel GREAT to accomplish a goal? Heck yeah it does!! :))

Now guess what?? Tomorrow it is on the schedule to REST (thank Goodness!!) and TRACK MY RESULTS!!!! Oh Baby!! I'm really looking forward to it!!! I can't wait to share!! Cross your fingers everyone!!

Yep!!! Another VLOG!! :))

HELLOOOO!!!!!!! Day 26!! I'm seriously soo dang proud of myself for sticking to it!! WOW!! what a great feeling to be accomplishing such an amazing goal (to get in shape).

I made a little treat for all of you!!! Because I LOVE you all so much and know that you all just absolutely LOVE watching me!!! He he he he... ok!! ok!! the program is giving me a big head lately... LOL. I made the video pretty much so that I don't have to sit here and TYPE!! he he...

Inches LOST!!!

So sorry for the belated post. This last week has been super chaotic! But no worries... the post is up!! :))
Today is day 25!! Can you believe it!! Day 25!! Whoa! Exciting!! I feel absolutely wonderful!! My clothes fit great, my attidude is positive and my muscles are stronger!! It's paying off ;)

Today I did Burn Intervals and Ab Burner. I love these two workouts very much.

As far as "weight" results, I haven't lost any weight (besides the weight from the 2-day fast I did). Other than that, I haven't lost a pound!! BUT! I do know that I have gained muscle... it shows. So i'm not worried about the weight loss..... YET!! ;))

As far as "inches"... now that is an obvious. My jeans are fitting sooo much better. I've been getting alot of compliments this past week. Even though the weight didn't drop off, the inches have decreased, and the inches are where the most obvious results show. I feel great!! And honestly, I feel like I have lost weight... only because of the way my clothes are fitting.

I have one week left in the Burn Phase and then i'm on to Push Phase. So result pics from my first 30 days are coming!! woo hoo!!!!

Anyone Else doing the Burn Phase right now and are about to graduate into the Push Phase within a week or two? Want to share results pics? :)))
